It's bittersweet to share this news with you all, but the time has come. The sun will be setting on Velvet Season Studios - and with incredibly poetic timing, right in the thick of the velvet season at the end of August. 

It's no secret to anyone that the economy is not what it was when we opened our doors four years ago, but the truth is our personal lives have changed drastically since we opened, and we have made the incredibly tough decision to not renew our lease before the decision is made for us.

This means that new chapters will be written for both of us in the future. Over the last four years, we've celebrated with you, grieved with you, supported you and felt supported back, and most of all, we've made incredible friendships along the way. We've learned so much about you and about ourselves on this journey, and we can't thank you enough for just being yourselves. 

It's not over just yet - bookings and events will be accepted until August 29th, 2025. If you have credits on file, please reach out to us to schedule these before we close as refunds can not be issued. Also keep your eyes on our social channels as we start to sell our loved furniture and other inventory over the coming months.
