Please join us for an eclectic showcase of carefully-selected pet-based businesses. This is an indoor face to face event that supports emerging entrepreneurs and local businesses in the pet industry with opportunities to sell their products. We are taking every necessary precaution to keep all exhibitors and guests safe, so there will be limited space available.

Fur-Fest takes place on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 10 AM - 3PM EST. Deadline to apply is July 15, 2022. Vendor fees are $80 + HST. 

I understand that if my vendor application is successful, I agree to abide by the terms and conditions of participation as outlined below.

Market Vendors:

• Our receipt of your vendor application does not guarantee acceptance. Due to the number of applications, only those chosen to participate will be contacted.

• If you are accepted to participate, we will send you an email by end of day July 19, 2022 to advise of such. Payment is due within 72 hours of acceptance via e-transfer or credit card. Vendor fees are non-refundable. 

• Once accepted, vendors are expected to help showcase the event through their social networks and word of mouth. 

• There is no shared participation. Vendor spaces are 6 ft wide. One table will be provided, but table linens, chairs, and other items are not provided. Vendor supplied furniture may be allowed with prior written permission.

• This market takes place entirely indoors, so will take place rain or shine.

• If you would like to apply to serve food, pleasure ensure you have your food handler's certificate to share with us prior to receiving acceptance.

• Vendors agree to being photographed at Fur-Fest and allowing market photos and video to be used for promotional purposes. 

• Vendors agree to provide product and lifestyle images for promotional purposes, upon acceptance.

• Load-in begins the morning of the event. All participating vendors are provided with a set-up/tear-down schedule prior to the event. Vendors will be assigned a location and will be notified upon arrival at the event. All vendors are required to dismantle and clear their belongings immediately following the close of the event. Vendors are required to remain set-up in their market booths until the close of the event. 

• Vendors agree to be market-ready prior to the public opening time.

• Vendors agree to be legally liable for any negative consequences following the purchase or consumption of their products.

• This is a vetted event. Vendors are responsible for their own signage, product labels, collection of sales tax and credit/debit services.

• Fur-Fest vendors are solely responsible for obtaining necessary licenses, insurance, and approvals required to sell your goods at the market. Velvet Season Studios is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft as a result of failure to do so.

• If any government agency, court, person, or commercial body orders sale of your products cease, you will immediately comply with this order.

• As a vendor, you will indemnify Velvet Season Studios for any loss, fine, penalty, judgement, legal fees, and expenses reasonably connected with your failure to comply with the terms of this agreement or any liability, negligence, gross negligence, or injury resulting from your products, actions, conduct, booth setup, display, or trade activities.

• Cancellation Policy
  If an updated Provincial Health Order that restricts gatherings and events comes into effect that forces the cancellation of Fur-Fest, vendor fees will be credited towards a future event.

• Failure to comply with the above terms will result in the cancellation of your application.

• Force Majeure: Velvet Season Studios will be excused of any performance obligations in the event of a disastrous occurrence outside the control of an act of God (fires, explosions, earthquakes, hurricane, natural disasters, global pandemic, flooding, storms, or infestation), or War, Invasion or other Hostility (whether declared or not), or any hazardous situation created outside the control of Velvet Season Studios such as a riot, disorder, nuclear leak or explosion, or act or threat of terrorism.
